One of the biggest problems all of us internet marketers face is the constant need for fresh, unique and quality content to use on our sites and mostly (at least for me) for SEO and link building purposes.
Writing articles is not fun for most of us. You know it and I know it. I can tell you that writing articles for me isn’t much fun when I’m doing it for link building purposes or to add as content to a new niche site that I don’t really know much or excited about. I actually love writing when it comes to writing about something I am familiar with and excited about so if I really need to I can write content about anything.
But I don’t want to.
My time is the most valuable asset I have and if I can find better solutions for content creation that will save me time and still provide me with what I need (and more) than I am going to take full advantage of these solutions. This is mainly why I am such a big fan of the Ultra Spinnable Articles service.
Today I want to introduce you to Article Builder, a new content creation solution from the house of Jonathan Leger which you may all know from his best selling article spinner, The Best Spinner. Jonathan is one of only 4 internet marketing “gurus” that I listed on my Guru Trust list and for very good reason. Since I’m on Jonathan’s email list I was lucky enough to learn about the release of Article Builder and decided to take it for a test and see if it is going to be as good as it sounded and looked like.

Article Builder was first created back in 2007 and didn’t really took off. Jon has only recently decided to reinvest in this tool and launch it again to the public. I guess he had his hands full in the past 4 years with all of his other tools and services

The Concept Behind Article Builder
Article Builder relies on a huge database of PLR articles. This database is being updated daily and it is built with categorized titles, introductory paragraphs, tips and concluding paragraphs that have all been extracted from tens of thousands of PLR articles.
The database is also divided into different categories so all you basically need to do is to pick the category you want, add subtopic keywords (if you want), select the word count you want for the article and decide on how many articles you want. Sounds simple and it actually is quite simple.
The quality of Article Builder and its longevity will depend on the quality and size of the PLR database. This means that the database will have to grow all the time and new content will need to be added. Since we are talking about a Jonathan Leger product here I am not worried at all as his support and continuous updates for his various products is well known. Since the initial launch he already updated the tool so much, adding more categories and features thanks to the user feedback he is getting on his forum.
One of the more important additions he made is adding metrics tracking how many times every PLR snippet, title and introduction/conclusion is used to generate or inject into articles. By adding this metrics Article Builder will only pull the least used content when generating new articles or injecting content to existing articles. This addition is very important for ensuring that all content gets used evenly as well as new content being favored as it makes its way into the database.
Another great thing that is pretty unique for Jon Leger products is that he always releases a tool for a select number of users (beta testing) and takes their feedbacks and remarks to consideration in order to make the tool much better. This is exactly what he is doing with Article Builder and in just a few days he had dozens of little updates and I know that more features will be added in the near future.
Article Builder Video Overview
I thought about creating my own video overview to show how Article Builder works but that would be a waste of time. Mine and yours. For every product he creates Jon adds a video overview that shows exactly what it does and how it could help you on the product homepage so just go and watch the video.
I am sure that you will have a much better understanding of how Article Builder works and what you can do with it after you watch the video.
Article Builder Cool Features
As you could see in the video Article Builder has a very simple interface but it still has some cool features.
Saved Jobs
You are able to save your article building jobs for future use so all you will need to do is just to click on one button and any job you saved will be run again and provide you with the articles you wanted.
Inject Content
Being able to take existing articles and injecting content to them is great and can help you make your articles more unique. Also, with the various options of how to show the injected content you can help your article look better both for readers and the search engines.
Pass Copyscape
I don’t know how Jon comes up with these little tricks. As you can see in the ending of his overview video you can select to encode the articles so it would pass Copyscape and that actually works.
You would be even more surprised to learn that although these are all PLR articles many of the articles you will create will pass Copyscape even if you won’t choose the encoding option. I won’t count on that since these are PLR articles but it does seem that in many cases they do pass Copyscape without the encoding.
Request Topics
Article Builder will depend mainly on the database and since not all of us are targeting the same niches that database should be as varied as possible and include as many different topics and categories. I can tell you that many categories have been added in the first 7 days I worked with this tool and I know for sure that many more will be added in the future thanks to the option to request the specific topics you want.
API
My head already started spinning with the various uses you can make with the Article Builder API. I am certain you are going to see some new WordPress plugins in the coming months taking full advantage of this API for generating content with a click of a button and I hope one of them will be mine

Some Features I Would Love To See
Article Builder is not perfect and here are some features I would love to see added to the tool and I already shared them on the Article Builder Forum so I hope we will see some of them added soon.
Copy Article To Clipboard
After you create a set of articles you have 2 options for each article. Post it to a blog or download it. I would love to see another button that will simply copy the article to the clipboard for me.
Same Number of Paragraphs – ADDED!
I think it would be great if we could tell Article Builder to build us a number of articles and to make sure that all articles have the exact same number of paragraphs. That could be great for using with Unique Article Wizard for example.
Spinning – ADDED!
Adding spinning support is a must in my opinion and I’m sure we will see this added soon. Since using a spun article is better for link building purposes it would be awesome to be able to create a number of articles and than with a click of a button have Article Builder take all the articles and spin them together into a highly spun article.
It shouldn’t be too hard since Jon is the creator of The Best Spinner so I am sure he could figure this one out. I think that when this feature or something similar will be added it would really make Article Builder a whole lot better and a must have tool.
Update On The Spinning Feature
It only took Jon one day! one day only to add this new feature I suggested and more. I am telling you guys, Jon Leger is fu**ing awesome. You can see the thread were I made the suggestion and the replies I got for it here.
Jon has also added the option to use The Best Spinner API to automatically pull synonyms from the massive TBS database for words and phrases found in the content of the article you generate with Article Builder. Keep in mind that using this option will require you to proofread the article to weed out synonyms that do not quire fit to the content.
Jon also created a video showing how the new feature works but that video wasn’t all that great so I took the chance to make one of my own which I hope would help you understand how the new spinning features work.
This is all the proof you need to understand that Jonathan Leger takes his products and customers very seriously. It proves all of what I’ve been thinking and saying about the support he provides for his products and how he keeps making them better every single day. Amazing.
Change The Logo!
How ugly is that logo guys?
I know this has nothing to do with the actual tool but I would really love to see a different logo for Article Builder and I wanted to share that with you. First impression is very important and I must say that the first impression I got when I landed on the Article Builder homepage wasn’t a good one and I think it is mainly because of that ugly logo.
It didn’t effect my decision to give Article Builder a try but that was easy since I know Jon and his products.
Bottom line, I really hope that changing the logo is on his to do list .
How I’m Using Article Builder
That is easy folks. I gave my VA access to the tool so now he can very easily create articles to use for link building purposes. I think the articles you will get using Article Builder are great for link building purposes and I personally prefer to use them for that purpose and not for posting to my various blogs.
But that’s me. You can do whatever you think is best for you.
I actually tried using articles created by Article Builder to post to BuildMyRank and you will be surprised to know that some got approved (BMR only excepts unique articles and they are very strict about that) so that really surprised me but I wouldn’t count on that working 100% of the time since these articles are built using PLR snippets.

New Features
Article builder has 2 new features that I think are worth mentioning:
- All of the topics in Article Builder now have Super Spun content available. That means that every article you generate using the new Super Spun content is guaranteed to be AT LEAST 75% unique and according to Jon it is usually much more unique than that. This is really great and you can now choose if you want to use snippets from PLR articles or content from ready made super spun articles.
- Article Builder now supports fully automated blog posting of content to as many blogs as you want, on the schedule you choose. This new feature would make it as easy as possible to build a blog network full of top quality content in your chosen niche.
Article Builder Price
I was lucky enough to get Article Builder for $197 a year. When it is going to reopen for the public the price is going to be $297 a year. Many might find that to be too expensive and that is OK but I really don’t want to see the price going down and trust me, dozens have asked Jon to lower the price since he launched Article Builder. Many have asked for a monthly subscription or for a payment plan but I am happy to say that it seems Jon will not offer any other payment option.
Why am I so happy about that you ask?
I knew you’d ask that and I have an answer for you.
User Abuse
Pricing Article Builder lower will result in the addition of many users that will make the wrong use of the content it will create for them and basically use it as spam which will effect all of the other users of the tool. Making it cheaper will invite more users that will simply abuse the tool and it will eventually ruin the quality of the product.
Content
Article Builder will be good as long as its database will keep being updated with new content. In order to do that money will be required to pay for all the content creation and/or purchase of it. Since I own The Best Spinner I know how great the support Jon provides for his products and he just keeps on updating them every single day. This will have to be the case for Article Builder to remain a great tool and hopefully becoming much better with some new features and I am well aware that in order to do that money will be needed in order to invest in continuous support and future development of the tool.
It Is Already Cheap
Common guys, $297 a year is less than $25 a month. How many tools in the internet marketing niche you know of that cost less than $25 a month and how many tools in general can do what Article Builder does?
Serious internet marketers should be able to afford Article Builder at its current price point. The time and money it can save you is actually worth more in my opinion.
The Best Spinner Integration
If you are using The Best Spinner than you should already know that Article Builder is partially integrated into it. It was added in version 3.1. You can find it under the publish tab and click on Content Generator.

It works exactly the same as it would work in the Article Builder interface with some limitations. One of the most commonly asked questions since the release of Article Builder was what is the difference between what you get inside The Best Spinner and the stand alone version of Article Builder.

Are you using it personally? How much rewrite do the generated articles need?
The “encode to pass CopyScape” is a questionable feature. Ok, it will pass CopyScape, but only because CopyScape doesn’t support the HTML entities. And of course Google can still detect these duplicate articles, no matter how you encode them.
I really don’t understand this feature. maybe he just wants to fool the noobs?
Anyway the service looks great, provided he keeps adding unique content.

I am really not a big fan of all the duplicate content debates, especially when it comes to content used for SEO. The way Google sees duplicate content is not they way Copyscape checks it so whether an article passes or not doesn’t mean Google agrees with the verdict Copyscape gave. I am not using that feature and from knowing Jon and his previous products, he is not about “fooling” anyone. It is just a cool feature and if someone will find it useful he can use it. It is not a must, just an option you get.
I agree, as long as more content will be added Article Builder seems to be pretty awesome.
I have just signed up to this service. It is freaking amazing! The generated articles either pass Copyscape, or show just 5-10% duplicate. They don’t even need to be rewrited before publishing!
I am thinking about dismissing spinning. Since I can create unlimited unique or almost unique articles with this tool, do we need spinning anymore? I think it is less time generating another article, than generating an article then spinning it properly.
I am only using the option that allows me to spin the generated article together since it makes it very easy for me to submit that article to various blog networks.
Their logo is good. It is colorful because the tagline says: “We’ve turned article writing into childs play!”. Google has a similar logo. The logo demonstrate the ease of generating articles with this tool.

This is a great tool, I only wished the topics matched closer to the stuff I am doing. I’m going to pass on this for now to concentrate of getting my own stuff done.

Jon reopened AB although he still has the ugly header ha ha (I agree it looks to mickey mouse to me and turned me off a bit at first).
He added two new things: auto posting and super spun articles: It now says:
“NEW! All Topics Include Super Spun Content (100% Human Edited, Top-Quality)
To add to the diverse amount of content available to you in Article Builder, we’ve added Super Spun content to all of the available topics. With one push of a button, you can generate top-quality, 100% human edited, perfectly readable articles.”
So do you think that we don’t need TBS? I don’t have that and really don’t want to buy it or take the time to do further spinning if it’s not necessary. At least that is how I interpret the above is that we don’t need to use TBS to spin it more?
Just curious why do you use USAs when you have AR? Why not just go with AR?
I will use AR for backlinking so I’ve heard it’s not actually critical (for now) that it’s not 100% unique unless your posting Traffic Kaboom or BMR I suppose.

I am using TBS to make the articles even more unique but that is not a must, especially now that the super spun are available for all categories.
I assume that by AR you mean Article Builder (AB) and I use both because it makes life much easier for me (and I can afford it). AB has categories that I can’t find with the UAS’s and I have used the UAS’s quite a bit so it is great to have another great source for content. If I had to choose between the two today I would probably go with Article Builder.

I simply added my suggestions on his forums and within 24 hours, he added them. I was pretty amazed and you forgot the most important feature I suggested which was the ability to spin several article together.

Yep. You sure can
You just need to mark the check-box next to these advanced options: Spin articles together and/or Spin content with synonyms and you will get an article with the spintax ready to be submitted to the tools you mention.
This looks good. Content costs are a big problem. Providing content for blog networks, web 2.0, article sites etc etc. Costs really add up.
My main concern with this is that he will keep putting in new content and I am also concerned about the over use of the content. I already see what seems to be people reselling the articles as fiverr gigs. Are you finding the articles are over used or do they still seem to be ok.
Hi Adam, the article are still working and I would be they will work for a long time. Jon is simply amazing in his constant support of his various services and in the 2 months that Article Builder is live it has been updated dozens of times. More categories and content is being added along with new features. For the one time price it really seems to be the best content solution for link building purposes.
On a second points have you been able to use these successfully with articleranks, uaw etc. I know you use these networks a lot as you talk about them on your blog.

A couple of spun article newbie questions. In this case using Article Builder to create articles for Authority Link Network.
Does it matter where and how you embed your backlinks in an article? Can they just be stuck anywhere in the content or should they be embedded in sentences that at least make an attempt to relate to the surrounding paragraph ie “Window washing is a lucrative career but how about those >patio furniture cleaning tools< that save time and energy!"
Also I downloaded one of the Article Builders super spun articles which looks like, if im interpreting the spintax correctly, it spins not just sentences but all the paragraphs. For the life of me I cant figure out where to put the link tags (%LINK1%) so that they show up every time. So far I have only been able to see them in the preview by sticking them in before the opening { or closing } of the whole article. I must be missing something really obvious. Any advice on how to accomplish this?

1. I always add the links inside sentences that try to make them relate to the article. I actually use the MTUSP’s from the Ultra Spinnable Article membership to do that. Works great.
2. You should the links after a closing }. Just like you do by adding them to the end of the article you can do the same after paragraphs. Just look for the closing } in the article body.

Got it. Thank you. Im a little confused about the MTUSP comment. Are they available for both ultra spinnable articles and the minis? Which are you using for blog posts like for Authority Link Network or UAW (mini or regular) ? How often do you feel comfortable reusing a given article? I think I will have to buy one and play with it to see how to actually use the MTUSPs for link insertion.
They are both available as part of the membership for the USA’s (either the premium article or minis). It doesn’t really matter which MTUSP you choose. I am using the same article quite a few times, they are really super spun so they generate alot of unique versions.

Between the Ultra Spinnable Minis and Article Builder I would say go with Article Builder but whatever you do, don’t make your decision based on whether or not they will be accepted by BMR. I am able to get them accepted by BMR but that is not a sure thing and may not last for very long.

I am actually just looking to get the content to a point where I can basically just edit it enough to the point where it is nice and neat enough to submit to BMR with minimal headaches.
I know there’s no way to full proof this sort of content. But if it can save me some time it’s definitely a plus.

I was reading the sales page and it told me there’s just one spot left. By accident I hit refresh button and now it says it is sold out and I can’t buy it… Damn, I want it so much! I am spending too much money on content generation I guess… Article Builder seems to be a very good solution and it is cheap.
Do you have any other suggestions than Article Builder, or would you recommend waiting until it is re-opened?

On average, how many words these super spun article has and how many unique variation can be generated from single super spun article?

The super spun articles are really SUPER SPUN. I just grabbed one to be sure before I provide you with an answer and the master article is 65 pages and almost 43,000 words. It has way more than the required 100 syntax brackets so there is no problem to use it with ALN. I also checked a 1-level spin or flat spin and that also has more than 100 100 syntax brackets so you can (and should) use that.
I really don’t know how exactly how many unique versions you can generate from such an article but it is a very very high number. Just look at the numbers (65 pages, 43,000 words).
1 more question, how do you compare this with Vita Vee USA?
That is a very good question and I assume that Jon Ledger will eventually launch a super spun articles service and it would be really interesting to see how it will compare. It does seem that these articles are more spun than the USA’s but I don’t really know how they are being spun but right now, Vita Vee is offering over a 1000 of these Ultra Spinnable Articles on various topics and there are only a few Super Spun Articles covering a few topics.
Finally, I am a member of Article Builder
By the way, when you submit articles from Article Builder to BMR, do you use their Super-Spun Articles, or do you just build a regular article?

It’s strange you get your articles from Article Builder accepted. Submitted 11 articles and none of them got accepted. Maybe before you submit them to BMR, you spin them a little bit, is that what you do?

Like I said Matt, it is not something you should count on as BMR only accepts unique article. It did work pretty good when I first tried it but I assume they are learning and it won’t work as good anymore.
In any case, I don’t use Article Builder for my BMR posts. I have a writer that does the writing and posting for me.

Hi, i’m still using it but I can’t really say much about how it works with BMR since I don’t want to mislead anyone. BMR is all about unique content and I recommend you only join the service if you plan to add unique content to it. That is the only way it will really work for you.
I have had a months trial of Article Builder, downloaded loads of articles, unfortunately you can find the content all over the internet, it is far from unique content and is just articles mashed together which is old technology from 4+ years ago, they do make sense to the reader but fail copyscape, if they fail copyscape there is not a hope in hell of google liking them after Panda, it would be foolish to put them on a website you care about.
Perhaps as part of a cheap blog network they could serve a purpose but apart from that I cannot see the point to them.
So I got a refund, and to their credit I got the money back with a few hours of requesting it which is cool.
Is there any limitation on number of articles we can generate from this platform ?

Hi Lima, I just checked and you have a limit of 379 articles that you can generate every day. That number changes and increases over time and in any case, that is more than enough (for me at least).
I don’t know the number of articles in the database but i’m sure it is in the tens of thousands if not more. It keeps growing every day with more articles and more topics.
