As part of my case study section on my blog I decided to include my Article Marketing Robot Review post and share with you how I am going to attempt getting it to the top of the search engines.

I will start promoting my Article Marketing Robot Review post only with article marketing robot submissions. I will do this at the beginning without any other link building and according to my progress I might add some additional link building methods.

Search Volume

The reason I want this post to get to the top of the Google results is because I want a big piece of the search traffic:

As you can see from the above screenshot taken from the Google Keyword Tool there are 1900 exact match monthly searches for Article Marketing Robot and you can also see that the search trends are on the rise.

Competition Analysis

I have no idea why my post is showing at number 10 as it is not ranked number 10 (yet) and Market Samurai Rank Tracker shows it is ranked #45. Pretty weird.

Ranking Progress

The following table will show my ranking progress and I will update it every once in a while as my rankings will improve (hopefully ).

I will be tracking my rankings using 2 tools:

1. Market Samurai – The Built In Rank Tracker Module
2. Rank Tracker – Link Assistant Rank Tracker

Link Building

Starting Point – February 3rd

I will start my link building with 7 Article Marketing Robot submissions that will spread out over the coming week. I will use the built in scheduler to schedule the submissions and the articles will of course be Ultra Spinnable Articles.

I decided to include also links to my Unique Article Wizard Review and see if these submissions will have any effect on that post rankings as I am also running a case study for that post. You can read more about it over at my Unique Article Wizard Case Study post.

February 11th Update

The Article Marketing Robot submission has ended and here is the screenshot from the AMR scheduler:

As you can see, I had an average of around 950 successful submissions for each article. I don’t know yet if the amount of failed sites is common and I will keep on testing and tying it out until I will enough data to come to a conclusion about that.

You can see that my AMR submission did have a big impact on my rankings:

• Article Marketing Robot – Moved from position #45 to #10 according to Market Samurai and according to Rank Tracker it moved from position #42 to #7.
• Article Marketing Robot Review – Moved from position #11 to #3  according to Market Samurai and according to Rank Tracker it moved from position #12 to #3.

I think this does show that AMR submissions have an impact and I will keep testing it on some other keywords on my blog to see how it effects older posts and if it can move a keyword that is kind of stuck for a while.

For the coming week I will put Unique Article Wizard for the test again and see how it can impact my search engine rankings for these keywords. Here is a screenshot from

I have submitted 7 articles for the coming 7 days starting February 10th. Check back soon and see how these UAW submissions will impact my rankings.

February 18th Update

It seems that the UAW submissions had a big impact and unfortunately it was a negative one (at least at the beginning). Once the submissions started at 300 a day the rankings dropped to 18 & 15 but it seems to be getting better now as currently you can see in the rankings progress table that I am back in the first page and according to Market Samurai I am ranking 2nd for Article Marketing Robot Review (pretty big jump as yesterday I was ranked 15th…)

This is very interesting and I would probably do another similar test on a different page in order to see if this is a one time thing or something that will repeat itself and than I will know if I need to avoid it or not. Maybe I will simply need to lower the daily submissions.

I am running many case studies promoting several of my blog pages and posts and other sites I am building so I am not sure if I will be able to focus on this one in the coming week and in any case, I will keep you updated. I will probably let the remaining UAW submission finish.
