Getting things done is hard for almost all of us. I know it and you know it. I am sure everyone knows it. I know I had dozens of great ideas pop up in my head over the past few years but pretty much none of them made the transition from an idea to reality.
There is one reason for that – Resistance.
I didn’t know the reason until I read ‘Do The Work’ by Steven Pressfield. It is without a doubt one of the best reading experiences I had and this is why I urge you all to read it too.

The Domino Project is a new way to think about publishing. It was Founded by Seth Godin and powered by Amazon, they are trying to change the way books are built, sold and spread.
The Domino Project is named after the domino effect—one powerful idea spreads down the line, pushing from person to person. The Project represents a fundamental shift in the way books (and digital media based on books) have always been published. Eventually consisting of a small cadre of stellar authors, this is a publishing house organized around a new distribution channel, one that wasn’t even a fantasy when most publishers began.
From what I understand, It seems to me Amazon is on its way to becoming a publishing house. I may be wrong but that is the impression I get and I am sure that it is going to work and make the change they are trying to make.

I personally read it on my iPhone. Pretty awesome. I love the app and I think it provides a much better reading experience than iBooks. Much easier to read.

Steven Pressfield is also the author of The War of Art and I am just about to get started reading it. I will let you know my thoughts once I get it done.

But it is still well worth the price in my opinion.
