The Traffic Player is an all new and revolutionary video payer for WordPress. I know this might sound a little bit hyped up but just wait until you see it in action and you will understand.
Traffic Player was created by Mark Dulisse and I was lucky enough to get an early copy of the plugin. In this review I will share with you my thoughts about this video WordPress plugin.

The Traffic Player Review
There is no doubt that video is great for the purposes of promoting and marketing on websites. It seems that everyone loves video. If you are not yet using video in your internet and/or affiliate marketing campaigns than you are simply missing out.
Creating video is really not hard and creating it is not the main problem most are not using it. The main issues are hosting costs and coding.
Hosting Videos
Videos are large files and they require very large bandwidths. This is something that prevents most from using them because most don’t know about how easy it can be with services such as Amazon S3 and many will be reluctant to pay for hosting videos.
But no worries. Traffic Player solves this issue for you and you won’t spend a dime on hosting your videos and the way it does it is simple and amazing. With Traffic Player you can host your videos for free on YouTube.
Traffic Player is the only video player that can take YouTube videos and no one will know you video is being host on YouTube.
Coding
In order to make your videos look professional you will need to know some coding or pay someone that knows coding. You will also need to know how to create great looking skins (or pay someone that knows this) and how to add various options like auto play, hiding controls, showing info, HD and many others.
With Traffic Player you don’t need to know coding and you won’t need to pay anyone as it will allow you to create professional looking videos is a matter of seconds.
So How Does Traffic Player Work?
Traffic Player is a WordPress Plugin. Very simple to install and very simple to use.
A small TP icons will be added to your WordPress post/page creation page:
In order to add a video to the page or post you simply click on the TP icon:
All there is left for you to do is to copy the video URL or the video ID (which is the a bunch of letters you can find in the URL after the “=”), choose a skin, choose the dimensions and the various options.
The Traffic Player currently comes with 8 skins and many more will be added in the near future according to Mark.

It seems that there is still some improvement to be made as when you hide the controls (which are the same controls you see on YouTube videos) the user will not have any ability to control the video except for pausing and playing.
The Traffic Player Conclusion
Traffic Player is truly a great WordPress plugin that is very easy to use and that solves the biggest issues many have when trying to use video on their websites.
The ability it gives you to use YouTube for hosting your videos without anyone knowing thanks to the great skins and advanced options is really awesome and I can’t think how this wasn’t done before. If you are using videos and hosting them on paid services than by using Traffic Player you will probably save money.
It seems to me that Mark Dulisse did it again with yet another great tool that saves time and money. No need to pay for hosting and no need to know any coding. Very easy to use and very newbie friendly.
The Traffic Player is still not perfect as I mentioned earlier and I would love to see some added control functions and even more great skins (which both are coming soon as far as I know) but with that said, Traffic Player gives you unlimited hosting, unlimited bandwidth and great analytics thanks to the integration it has with YouTube and that by itself is more than worth the price in my book.

Hi, Thanks for the post. I have TP but the problem is that it won’t play any videos hosted on Amazon S3. It will show a black screen. I’m not sure why. I copy the URL for the video hosted on Amazon S3 and post it in there. When I try to view the page, the movie shows a black screen inside TP. Any idea why?
Also, you mentioned that with TP, no one will know your video is hosted on You Tube. How is that? on the lower right corner of the video it says You Tube so it can take the viewer from the opt in page to You Tube if the video is originally hosted there.
