Traffic Travis Review

Traffic Travis is an SEO & PPC software from the house of Affilorama, which was founded by super affiliate, Mark Ling. The way I see it Traffic Travis does the same tasks Market Samurai does and since I am a big Market Samurai user I never really gave Traffic Travis a fair chance.

This ends now. Traffic Travis is going to launch a completely new version and I was lucky enough to be included on the beta testing team so I will be able to check and see exactly what Traffic Travis v4.0 will bring to the table and how it is going to match up against the competition.

Read This First!

The free version of Traffic Travis is great and if you can’t afford paying for a keyword tool than Traffic Travis would be a great free choice. But, if you are going to pay for a keyword tool I don’t recommend you go with Traffic Travis. I recently started using a tool named Long Tail Pro which is what I would recommend you go for if you are in the business of building niches sites.

You can read my Long Tail Pro Review to find out all about his new keyword research software and why I find it to be better than Traffic Travis and Market Samurai.

Traffic Travis is a software designed to help online businesses boost their website traffic. It is an all-in-one tool for search engine optimization, pay-per-click monitoring and general market research.

Traffic Travis 3.0

If you don’t know anything about Traffic Travis and if you never used it before I strongly recommend you go ahead and download Traffic Travis 3.0 for free by clicking here.

Traffic Travis 3 comes in both free and pro versions. I assume many will wonder what the difference is and you do have a great comparison chart that will help you compare the two but I will mention the key differences for you:

  • Number of projects: The free version is restricted to 5 projects.
  • Data caps: The free version has lower data caps on some tools.
  • Print and save reports: The free version doesn’t support this feature.

Interface

Traffic Travis 3.0 comes with 5 main modules as you can see in the main interface:

Traffic Travis Review

Traffic Travis is designed to provide you with a one-stop-shop for all of your search engine optimization needs. This makes everything much easier as you don’t need to rely to multiple tools and/or resources. This is similar to what Market Samurai offers but Traffic Travis provides you with this for free while Market Samurai is a paid tools if you want to use all of its powerful features.

I don’t see much point for me to get into each and every module of Traffic Travis v3.0, mainly because you get it for free and you can and should try it out. Also, a great thing I love about Traffic Travis is that for every module you open, a video tutorial will popup and will show you exactly what that module is about and how to make full use of it. This is a really great feature and I wish more tools will integrate the instructional videos inside the tool itself just as Traffic Travis does.

Traffic Travis 4.0 Review

Traffic Travis 4 looks completely different and you can clearly see it went through a complete overhaul.

Traffic Travis Review

I simply love how they included the videos inside every module of the software. As soon as you launch it for the first time a video will popup showing you exactly how to go about setting up your first campaign.

This is really great and I don’t know of any other tool that has the tutorial videos built in to the software itself. You don’t need to go anywhere else, the videos are right inside Traffic Travis and they really make it as easy and simple as possible to put it to use.

All you need to do is to create a new project by simply filling out some basic information and Traffic Travis will go and gather all the valuable information for you.

Traffic Travis Review

The amazing thing is Traffic Travis is gathering so much information and it does so simultaneously. You don’t need to wait for each process to finish as it processes all at the same time which means you will get all the information regarding your project much faster.

Dashboard Tab

I decided to run a test project in order to see what Traffic Travis will and I entered my domain and 6 Traffic Travis related keywords and here is the dashboard screen you will see. This shows up in a matter of seconds which is very impressive.

Traffic Travis Review

My Site Tab

The My Site tab shows all of the pages indexed on the domain. It shows the PR for each page, the number of backlinks and page warnings.

Traffic Travis Review

Above you can see the top linked pages on my blog but the really impressive part here is the Page Warnings. Traffic Travis actually analyzes every single page (in a matter of seconds) and tells you of any SEO warnings you need to be aware of.

This really surprised me. Here is the Page Warnings report for my main URL – Click Here.

You get such a report for every page on your site!

Research Tab

This tab contains Keywords and Domains research. You can enter a keyword and Traffic Travis will find related keywords and will show you all the information you need. You will also be able to check for SEO difficulty of every keyword you find. The keywords research tool integrated with Google AdWords and you can enter your Google login details for better results.

Under domains you will be able to enter as many keywords as you please and it will go ahead and find related domains (com, net & org) and will let you know which once are available. To be honest, this is not working as good as the domain module inside Market Samurai but I am sure they will make this better after they will get some user feedback.

SEO Tab

The SEO tab is divided into 4 sub screens:

  1. Rankings
  2. Competition
  3. Backlinks
  4. Link Finder

Here is the rankings screen for my domain and selected keywords:

Traffic Travis Review

Here is the competition screen for the 5 selected keywords I chose:

Traffic Travis Review

You can see the keywords on the right side of the screen. Traffic Travis is able to check the competition for a number of keywords at the same time which is pretty great.

The backlinks screen will provide you with a complete overview of your site or specific page backlinks. The Link Finder screen will help you find sites to get links from according to the keywords you will tell it. You can see the top sites It recommended for me for the keywords I selected (you can see the keyword in the rankings screenshot above):

Traffic Travis Review

PPC Tab

Traffic Travis PPC tab is divided into AdSense Finder and AdWords Competition and the video tutorial will show you exactly what it can do and how to use it. Much better than I can since PPC is not really my thing Traffic Travis Review.

Traffic Travis 4 Bonuses

Along with the Traffic Travis SEO software you will also get access to several exclusive bonuses that can be accessed from inside the software:

Traffic Travis Review

Since Mark Ling is among the top super affiliates and he is behind all of these bonuses I am sure they are all of top quality and I am sure you can learn quite a bit from them.

Traffic Travis 4 Conclusion

I didn’t quite go over everything Traffic Travis has to offer but from what I did manage to do with it, it really looks GREAT.

You can definitely see improvement from the earlier version and Traffic Travis is a complete SEO solution. An all in one SEO power house tool that if used correctly can surly help you rank better with the search engines.

If that is not enough, Mark over delivers with the 5 extra bonuses and the bonuses alone are worth more than the Traffic Travis Software.

Since you are covered with a 60 day no questions asked money back guarantee you really have no excuse not to give Traffic Travis a fair try. 60 days is more than enough time to see how powerful it is and how it can help you with your SEO and internet & affiliate marketing efforts.

I really like the Page Analysis tool of Traffic Travis 3.0. Simple to use and useful.

Do you know how they are planning to make the keyword research aspect more accurate? Use a different source perhaps?

Hi Chris,

There is still no real information about how exactly version 4 will gather the information and how it will do it more accurately and efficiently. This is going to be one of the main things I will look into and I will update the review as soon as I get some solid information.

I’ve taken up the offer of the 60 day trial. Although there were a few bugs when v4 was first launched, they were very open and apologetic about it; it improves daily with the updates. Overall, a useful and practical product.

Dave,

What is the source of information about the number of Backlinks to a website that Traffic Travis is using? Majestic SEO or YSE?

Shoot I bought Market Samurai a few months back. Looks pretty similar to Traffic Travis. I’m going to try the free version for keyword research.

That was a great review of the Traffic Travis software. I’ve seen it advertised alot, but I was never sure what exactly it does. I’m going to consider buying a copy.

Traffic Travis is a good seo tool. We can perform a good keyword analysis with this tool.

Yeah, nice review. I’m going to look in to this further. I’ve been using Market Samurai for some time now and like it but this looks interesting as well. Thanks for the thorough review and I’m going to keep TT in mind….L

Hi Len, If you already have Market Samurai than i’m not sure you will need Traffic Travis. They both do the same things more or less but I guess you can give TT a try if you want to and see if it works better for you.

I was a big fan of some features of TT 3.0

Sorry for posting again, though I somehow never got to finish my comment.

Anyway, basically I did see a lot of potential with TT 3.0 after using the free version.

The tool was quite fast in returning a wide variety of data, and was great for either doing keyword research, or analyzing links and many other seo tasks.
Then TT 4.0 hit the shelves, so naturally I updated the free version with great anticipation.

Though, looking a little Amateurish, the program presented a whole raft of great options(tools) to do some decent analyzing.

So I fired up the TT 4.0 Program. Unfortunately, after having done so, Traffic Travis had become a never ending saga of stalling, returning errors(in the start up process) and more.

I had read elsewhere that the new version of TT was a bit buggy, though I thought it may be just a few minor glitches.

What the Traffic Travis people should realize is, there is a chance to grab a bit of the potential market out there, if they decide to clean up the software and make it more stable.

What would have attracted potential TT 4 buyers would have been the programs ease of use, coupled with reliability(which it lacks).

If it is possible to do so, I will be going back to TT 3.0, as it was far more stable.

I already have the paid version of Market Samurai(and other tools), yet I seen a fair amount of potential with the idea behind TT.

I just wish I could get traffic travis to actually work. I’ve had it for months and I can’t seem to make it run my reports. It is SO infuriating because they won’t let me return it even though I spent that first month (can get refund for 30 days) going back and forth trying to make it work.

It’s so infuriating. Frankly, I’ve only had success with Raven Tools and SEOmoz. But, sadly I can’t afford them so here I am, stuck trying to make this second rate tools work.

VERY annoying.

I Buy it two weeks ago and very satisfied. That’s a very good tool. I really recommend it for begginers and Pros. Efficient and complete tool.

Has any0ne heard of or used AutoTrafficGrabber’s Traffic Equalizer? I bought it for $27 on CLICKBANK and have a trial until June 18. The software looks good and is easy to use and has easy-looking video tutorials, but the manual doesn’t seem to be a step-by-step explanation.
I was wondering if anybody could compare TrafficTravis (preferably the free 3.0 version) to Traffic Equalizer?
